God's Love One of the greatest statements I ever heard as a young man was made by a Christian psychologist. He said, “No matter how bad you have messed your life up, you can start all over today.” Sometimes people will look over their shoulders and gaze at a sordid past and conclude their is no hope for their future. Past sins and failures loom so large that the assessment of their life is that no one could possibly care for them. It actually boils down to the fact of not being able to love themselves. Well God’s love is amazing. Jesus said, “He had come to seek and the save the lost.” He set His love on the very outcasts of society. If you need a new start, today can be your day if you are willing to open your heart to God’s love. Remember Romans 5:8, which says, " But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." |
