On Anger A man brought his
wife in for marital counseling. When he came into the room he glaringly
commanded her to sit in a chair. He turned to the counselor and said, “My
wife needs counseling.” The counselor responded, “That might be so.
Would you leave us for a few minutes and let me talk with her alone?”
When he left the room, the counselor asked, “How do you live with this
guy?” She responded, “I clean the bathrooms with his toothbrush.” Anger is
something all of us deal with a certain amount. The apostle Paul
recognized it. "Be angry, and
do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath..."
Eph 4:26 (NKJV) Anger is
devastating for all who is involved. For those who are angry and for
those to whom anger is shown. The admonition of the Bible is to watch our
actions in the midst of our anger. Sometimes the emotion is hard to
control.. but remember we are always responsible for our actions.
