On Confusion
A confused man was walking down a
lonely country road one day, dragging a long rope behind him.
Upon being greeted by a friend coming
down the road, he said, "I am so confused that I don't know whether I've
found a rope or lost a mule."
Have you ever stopped to consider what
is in your hands? What purpose are you fulfilling? Where is the road of
life taking you? If you do a quick evaluation you might find confusion is
your plight also. Remember life is a precious commodity and we need to
know where we are going and what we are doing.
Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth,
and the Life. As we assess life, we need to see our value in Jesus
Christ. We need to consider God’s will as it applies to our life. The
values we hold are they the values of God? Is our life the abundant
everlasting life of God?
