On Decisions Harry Truman said,
“Some questions cannot be answered, but they can be decided.” The Old Testament
leader Joshua said, "And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD,
choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which
your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods
of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we
will serve the LORD. Joshua was
decisive in choice to follow the Lord. He made up his mind. He had
looked at his other choices, observed all the other influences, and then
planted himself into a commitment to God. Sometimes people
will spend a lifetime in indecisiveness. They decide not to decide. But
is that what they have actually done? Jesus says your
with me or against me. One is either friend or foe. Today, have you
planted yourself by making a firm commitment to the Lord. If not, why
not do that today.
