On the Word Of God The story is told of a boxer who gave his life to Jesus Christ, and although he was young in the faith, he started doing street preaching. He came to a neighborhood that didn’t appreciate his witness. In fact, they started to mock him, and eventually they started throwing things at him. He was really warm under the collar when one man walked up and said if you can prove one word of the Bible to be true, I would believe the Bible to be God’s Word. The boxer grabbed the man by the nose and started to wring it, till blood started to pour from both nostrils. He took his Bible and read: Proverbs 30:33 “For as the churning of milk produces butter, and wringing the nose produces blood, so the forcing of wrath produces strife.” Let us be reminded. The word of God is true and it will stand forever. |
