SOUTHERN GOSPEL CONCERT AT WSBC, SUNDAY JULY 4th

Senior Adults at Walnut Street Baptist Church coming together to fellowship in the joys of knowing Jesus Christ and His truths are better known as The Joy Club.
The JOY Club of Walnut Street Baptist Church is designed to give adults, ages fifty and older, opportunities for ministry and fellowship. The group was begun in 1983 and named "Just Older Youth".
We have several activities for senior adults. They fellowship in Bible study, fun activities such as trips and gatherings. And of course, what fellowship would be complete without food? Their noon luncheon meeting is the first Thursday of each month. A covered dish luncheon is planned with an inspirational speaker, musician, or a seasonal program. And once or twice a year an out of town trip is scheduled, for inspiration and fellowship. Each senior adult is cordially invited to attend these meetings.
Our senior adults minister, Curtis Shatley, has been serving Walnut Street Baptist Church since May 1983.
