I have been married to my wife, Crystol, since 2000. We have two daughters – Baileigh and Addalyn. I have served here at Walnut Street since April, 2014. It is a blessing and honor that God has allowed my family and I to have this great opportunity to serve here at Walnut Street. I am currently attending Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary for Biblical Studies. I love to dig into God’s Word as well as hang out with my family and friends. I enjoy weight lifting, college football, and the Cardinals.
I have a passion to preach the gospel and reach the lost. My goal is to make sure each student has a clear understanding of the gospel and how it applies to and affects their life. Each student must take ownership of his or her faith. I want each student to understand they are a vital part of the church and that they have a calling to exercise their spiritual gift(s) to edify the church as well as reaching the lost world with the gospel.
I challenge our students to connect, grow, and go. They need to make sure they have an unhindered connection with God. Each student needs to have the assurance of their salvation and it is essential they are living their life to bring honor and glory to God. They need to make sure they are connected to fellow students. Being involved in a community of other like-minded believers is essential for our spiritual life. Our love for one another proves that we belong to God. As students are connected to God and to one another, it fosters growth. It is essential for students to grow in their spiritual life as well as in their relationship with one another. As students are connected and growing, I challenge them to go and reach the world with the gospel.
God has been and continues to do a great work in our student ministry here at Walnut Street. We have a great group of students and an incredible group of adult volunteers who love pouring into the lives of students. We would love for your to connect with us and experience God’s presence through worship and service. If you have any questions, feel free to call the church office or email me.
