What to exp ect
on a Sunday morning
We love our people! Whether it's your first time at Walnut Street or you've been coming for years, you can always find a friendly face waiting to greet you.
Even so, walking into a new place can be intimidating. So we're here to guide you through a few things you can expect when you visit.
Meet the Guest Services Team
No matter when you get here, we have a team ready to welcome you and help you find where you need to go.
Have questions? Ask anyone wearing an orange lanyard in the building or a red lanyard in the parking lot!
Kathleen Griffin is your guide for making connections and getting involved at Walnut Street! She is a great face to look for on Sunday mornings and is likely the person who will meet you at the door if you choose to "Plan a Visit" with us.
Where do I go?
There are entrances located all around the church. Guests are invited to park in the guest lot and enter through the guest entrance.
You'll know you're in the right spot when you see the red welcome flags!
Are you a first time guest?
If it's your first time visiting with us, we have a welcome bag with your name on it! Just find a Welcome Desk and let them know it's your first time with us. Also, be sure to fill out a connect card (found in the pew racks) so we can get to know you!
During this time, our second worship service meets in the sanctuary. There are also Bible Study 3 classes.
The second worship service is identical to the first!
Do you have kids with you?
We're so glad you and your family are going to be worshiping with us! We offer childcare for infants through 2nd grade during the 9:40am and 11:00am service times. Greeters will be happy to direct you to the children's counter!
If it's your first time visiting us, we ask that you arrive early to allow a little extra time to get checked in.
